From ‘Torino-Savona’ Motorway, in the direction of Savona take the Mondovì Exit off; if your direction is Turin take the ‘Niella Tanaro’ Exit off.

Vicoforte municipal district extends from the ‘Langhe’ Hills to the first Maritime Alps reliefs; between 425 m and 759 m of altitude, the landscape presents gentle hills with meadows, vineyards and orchards.
Southbound, the area is covered by woods, particularly chestnut-woods, the true witnesses of the ancient and historical ‘Selva di Santo Stefano’ (Santo Stefano’s Forest). Its position, in the southern part of Piedmont, makes Vicoforte the real barycentre between the Langhe, the Ligurian Coast and the touristic resorts of these hills; the mildness of the weather and the salubrity of the air contribute to the touristic vocation of the place, both in summer and winter time.
